Kuldeep Sen is a professional cricketer who plays for the Indian national team. He is a left-arm chinaman bowler and bats right-handed. Kuldeep was born on 14 December 1994 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He started playing cricket at a very young age and was selected to play for the Uttar Pradesh Under-16 team in 2009. He made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy and played his first List A match during the 2013–14 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Kuldeep was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ahead of the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
He made his IPL debut against the Delhi Daredevils in May 2014 and went on to play five matches in the tournament. He was then loaned to the Mumbai Indians for the 2015 IPL season. Kuldeep Sen made his domestic debut in 2016 for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy. He was the leading wicket-taker for Jharkhand in the tournament, with 27 wickets at an average of 19.48. He was also the leading wicket-taker in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, with 15 wickets at an average of 12.53. In 2017, he was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
